Bespoke metal fire escape stairs in Luxembourg and Belgium

Lux Art designs, fabricates and installs exterior galvanised steel fire escape stairs: straight with landings, quarter-turn or spiral, with suitable guards and the RAL colour of your choice. We build the stair to the requirements set by the architect, design office or competent fire service.

In Luxembourg and Belgium

Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

From our showroom in Grass we study fire escape stairs in Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Dudelange, Mamer, Strassen, Bertrange, Steinfort, Mersch, Ettelbruck and nationwide. Safety requirements (including ITM prescriptions and the fire service's opinion) are set by the architect or design office; we build the stair accordingly.

Belgium

We work in the province of Luxembourg — Arlon, Aubange, Messancy, Virton, Bastogne, Marche-en-Famenne — and study projects elsewhere in Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders. In Belgium, requirements derive notably from the basic fire prevention standards and the opinion of the emergency zone; they are set by the architect, and we fabricate the stair accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lux Art issue a fire compliance certificate?

No. Requirements and acceptance are the responsibility of the architect, design office or competent body. We fabricate and install to their specifications.

Can a spiral stair be used as a fire escape?

Sometimes, depending on the building and number of occupants. The architect or fire service decides; we make both types.

Which finish for outdoor use?

The steel is hot-dip galvanised and can then be painted in a RAL colour. We do not work with Corten steel.

When do we receive a price?

After your request you receive a reference. We call you to go through everything, then send you a price.
